A talented country folk family band, based on the Sunshine Coast, Chasing Sunday have been musical for years but only playing together “professionally” since 2015, making a significant impact with their diversity, skills and talent. Mum Shay (guitar, mandolin, vocal) formed the band around 3 of her 7 children: daughter Sjakyna (mandolin, guitar, ukelele, vocal); son Emmerson (drums, percussion, vocal); daughter Zhyaire (bass, vocal) and fledgling member, 3 year old daughter Hadassah (vocal – when she’s in the mood).
