Born and raised on the Australian east coast & based in Brisbane and Sydney where their father was a concert promoter and music distributor, Luke & Joel Smallbone are for King & Country, the name giving allegience to their home.
The boys father lost almost everything on a poorly supported tour and, taking his wife & young family, headed to the States for a fresh start.
The boys had grown up with music all around them, playing in the home and sleeping backstage and under chairs at music & concerts rehearsals and performances, bumping the kneecaps of the starts of the 80s & early 90s.
