Hailing from Port Lincoln, South Australia, Jo Page is an established independent singer/songwriter with a penchant for writing infectious music and relatable narratives.
Inspired by internationally acclaimed acts such as Shania Twain, Christina Aguilera, Linkin Park and Evanescence, Jo Page’s music journey began at a tender age of 2, singing in the bath. Always displaying an affinity towards music, whether it’s head bops in front of the TV when music was playing or singing along to songs of various languages, Jo Page was born to live a life filled with melodies and song. When the musician discovered the magic of music and how it can positively influence people, everything changed as it sparked a burning passion for her to pursue a career as a performer.
Being an avid storyteller, Jo Page is greatly influenced by real life, drawing inspiration for her music from personal experiences and hardships, allowing her to invoke strong emotions in people. Apart from emotions, Jo also seems to have a unique innate competency to ingeniously present music in multiple styles; soul, blues, country and rock, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the many factors that make this artist one to watch.
Having toured the country since 2011, Jo Page has performed at a plethora of notable venues throughout Australia, opening for the likes of Darryl Braithwaite, Suzi Quatro, Drapht, Adrian Eagle, The Angels, Eskimo Jo and Shannon Noll. Over the years, this multi-talented individual has captivated hearts with her soulful voice and passion, amassing a loyal following. A rebel for a cause and a poet with a dream, Page is a strong advocate for mental health, using her music to create an environment where people can be vulnerable and authentic. With plans to release more original music in the near future, Jo Page hopes to engage current audiences and reach out to new ones with her exciting yet profound creations and covers.
