AUSTRALIAN MUSIC INDUSTRY LEADER CAMERON GULLO CHAMPIONS THE FUTURE OF CHRISTIAN MUSIC NATIONWIDE!
SUNSHINE COAST, QLD — Cameron Gullo, one of Australia’s premier Christian artist managers and founder of 1606 Management, is stepping into the spotlight to bridge the gap between the church and the global music industry. Driven by a mission to grow the genre and advance the gospel, Gullo is spearheading a movement to elevate Australian Christian music onto the global stage.
Raised as a pastor’s kid, Gullo developed an early, dual passion for ministry and music. His career spans extensive work with highly respected Christian record labels and publishers across both Australia and the United States. Today, through his own firm, 1606 Management, he continues to promote, manage, and champion top-tier Christian artistry.
Gullo’s foundational belief is that Christian music holds the unique power to evangelise the world. Inspired by the prophetic identity of Australia as the “great Southland of the Holy Spirit,” he recently founded the Christian Music Conference (CMC). The landmark, annual one-day industry event gathers artists, writers, producers, worship pastors and executive leaders to collaborate, share behind-the-scenes knowledge and network.
“I am incredibly grateful to work as an artist manager within Christian and Gospel music in Australia, and to partake in the incredible growth our industry is experiencing,” said Cameron Gullo. “Ultimately, this is all to make the Name of Jesus the most famous of all, utilizing Christian art to reach the world for Christ.”
Following its inaugural gathering in 2026, the next Christian Music Conference is scheduled to take place at APRA AMCOS in Sydney on Friday, 5 March 2027. The conference will bring together influential voices from Digital Service Providers (DSPs), publishers, labels, radio, and management from across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
