Marriages can make or break a musicial career especially when both individuals have independent career paths.
When Hannah Olivia and Jason Daniels became a couple, literally everyone was waiting with baited breath what would become of their individual pursuits and if they would meld their writing and performance activities into a ‘super-duo’.
A huge sigh of relief was almost audible across the region at Hannah’s debut album launch when Jason became an integral part of her band.
Anticipation disolved into elation when the couple announced the formation of Brook St and the release of their debut single, “Steady Steady.”
Book St. is a band to watch in 2023 as the singles and tours are already keeping the couple very busy

A little eccentric, a little flighty, SO full of ideas and ambitions, this is Lissi Bos.
A long time creative in the Australian Arts scene, Lissi releases her debut single, “Just Be” on 10 April.
And what a single it is!!
“Producing my first song as an independent artist has been my birthday present to myself to remember who I am, to come back to the little girl who knew what she wanted, loved loud & free and full of love and life! And be gentle with the woman I am now, who has learned much and been through much to gain that wisdom so loving her is to be gentle with her, find what feels good now while rekindling the fire that runs deep in her veins for creative expression!
A forever reminder that I am my own best friend, knowing it’s my responsibility to love myself well, to see myself, know myself, understand myself and make choices that feel good for me, observing but not taking the weight of what anyone else understands or thinks.
Trusting myself was one of the hardest lessons to learn this year but has been so freeing as I continue to rebuild my health and life to be all I dream it could be, while enjoying all the beauty this world has to offer!
A day spent playing on the beach is how I do me, It’s how I just be…”

Greg and Rose have been actively involved in writing, recording and playing music for several years.
Broad influences from Electric Blues, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Rockabilly and other styles have been embraced to form a varied mix of material.
Over time, Greg has become increasingly interested in recording techniques and equipment, refining and sculpting sonic ideas to layer various flavours of guitar sounds to blend with bass, drums and vocals to create varying sonic landscapes.
These first release songs (Do You Wonder, Reach Out, So Many Questions & Life Jackets For Lemmings) were written several years before being recorded around 2010. The songs were remixed in 2022 and were made available on streaming platforms. It is interesting that several of the songs lyrics are pertinent to current world events and issues that many people are currently experiencing.
