BLUEY GREEN

BLUEY GREEN
Mount Maunganui  NZ
lite pop folk dance

Mount Maunganui, NZ’s Mitch Horton took the less direct route to releasing his own music. But after an adventurous life of surf and travel, the turmoil of 2020 became the catalyst for him to create a musical presence of summery optimism under the name Bluey Green. His music acts as a breath of fresh air to a weary world with a signature of warmth and positive energy.

2021 sees Bluey Green releasing his first music, created with the mad wizardry production skills of Mark Perkins (Merk). His first single Morning Sunshine was a solid debut, with the video being viewed over 100k times, aided by catching the heart of Mr Sam Neill. After cementing his mission to bring positive vibes to the masses, Bluey Green released his debut self titled EP on 9 July 2021 along with his new single Colours. – Mitch Horton.

ELISHA FRANCESCA

ELISHA FRANCESCA
South Australia
country pop folk rock blues gospel

Elisha Francesca is an honest singer-songwriter and musician currently based in South Australia.

She writes from the heart, revealing a message of hope to those who need it, focusing on sincerity, grace and artistry to country music.

With her latest EP titled, Thoughts & Feelings, Elisha’s desire is that her message will encourage her listeners in their day-to-day life as she shares just that – thoughts and feelings.

Elisha spent a decent amount of time in the U.S from 2015 onwards. Between travelling and studying, she found herself surrounded by all kinds of music and songwriters. She was provided many opportunities from performing on stage at B.B.Kings Blues Club in Memphis to jazz club Bamboulas in New Orleans, leading Christian churches/conferences in praise and worship across California and supporting Christian artists such as Jadon Lavik and Bill Welsh.

“I will never forget those times and how much trust these people had in me,” Elisha says.

It wasn’t until Elisha visited Nashville in 2018, that she realised her calling was to write songs of country, infused with blues and gospel.

On returning home to Australia, Elisha applied for and was accepted into the CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth for 2020. The Academy introduced Elisha to the Australian Country music industry, including radio interviews with 2TM Studios Tamworth, 88.9FM Tamworth Radio and 92.9fm Tamworth; working behind-the-scenes at the Golden Guitar Awards 2020; performing for artists such as Kasey Chambers and a very special moment performing for Australia’s very own Queen of Country Joy McKean.

Her exposure in Tamworth saw Elisha supporting established country artists including Lyn Bowtell, Carter & Carter and was booked for many more festivals throughout 2020 including supporting artists Catherine Britt and Amber Lawrence.

Unfortunately, most of 2020 was cancelled due to the global pandemic that took place. Elisha used that time to begin recording at EoR Studios with producer Damian Cafarella (Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes, Kasey Chambers). Cafarella introduced Elisha to music that was new to her ears including Alison Krauss & Union Station.

With much appreciation she says, “these guys have inspired me to write new melodies and within their style. I have much respect for them”.

Elisha’s other influences include Patsy Cline, The Wailin’ Jennys, Dan Tyminski, Gillian Welch and Kristy Cox.

Elisha Francesca’s Thoughts & Feelings EP is her first official commercial release with several more EP’s in the works.

It will become a touchstone in a growing career of one of Australia’s most promising singer-songwriters. -Elisha Francesca FB page (amended)

Olivia HOPE

OLIVIA HOPE
Melbourne  Vic
african influenced folk pop soul

Olivia Hope is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, currently settled in the funky northern suburbs. She is also a mum of three, a wife, a chocoholic, a lover of extra hot chai lattes and a fundraiser working in the charity sector.

Olivia has been singing since she can remember and wrote her first song at the age of 10.

“I sang with choirs, vocal groups and bands as a teenager and young adult, but always as a hobby quietly on the side.”

Olivia then moved to South Africa for ten years, worked for a HIV/AIDS charity, and joined a Zulu gospel choir.

“I was the only member of the choir who wasn’t Zulu and I learnt the Zulu language and culture (and met my husband!) through my involvement with the choir. I also had to unlearn how to sing from the head and learn how to sing from the heart and soul like they do in Africa!”

Olivia and her family relocated back to Melbourne four years ago now. Despite always having this passion for singing and song-writing,  it’s only this year (at the age of 38) that she has finally begun pursuing music with intent and not just as a little hobby on the side.

“I’m determined to get my original songs out there into the world for the first time and I’m keen to prove to myself and my kids that it’s never too late to chase a dream.”

“I draw my musical inspiration from soulful, goose bumpy singers like Alicia Keys, Andra Day, Ed Sheeran, Lauren Daigle, Sam Smith and Eva Cassidy. So if you like their music, you might like mine too! I haven’t performed anywhere yet and have just released my first ever singer in early July 2021 called “Till I Can Get To You”.

“I am looking forward to recording and releasing more of my origionals in the future, as I believe my songs are not just for my family and I but they might be a source of encouragement or upliftment for other people too.”

JAM

JAM
Sydney  NSW
rock pop edm

JAM is a Sydney singer/songwriter whose musical creations have an eclectic feel. With a passion for authentic rock music, power ballads and a love of EDM, JAM’s songs span a range of musical genres. There are no limits here and the music that flows from this exciting new artist completely depends on the story that’s being told. And telling musical stories is what JAM is all about.

JAM has been singing since her earliest years. After receiving vocal training along the way from her mother, Robyn, she studied an Advanced Diploma of Creative Arts at the School of Creative Arts at C3 Oxford Falls, majoring in vocals. JAM has since enjoyed a wide range of musical affiliations, including being a lead vocalist with DaySpring Music for 10 years, whilst also stepping in as a backing vocalist for visiting international artists such as Steve Swanson, Leonard Jones, Brian & Jenn Johnson and Dave Fitzgerald from time to time.

JAM is an authentic, everyday person, with a dream to use the language of music to connect with people. JAM’s mantra is to now ensure that she works hard to get her many songs out of herself and produced and recorded, and she jokes that she does not want to take them with her to the grave! Because of the difficult road she has walked to fulfil her dream of recording her own songs, JAM is also a passionate advocate for people with unfulfilled dreams. Her message is clear – “It’s never, never too late to start again!”
